Linki

Spin five. Link them all.

Choose a subject

How to play

  1. Pick a subject and difficulty.
  2. One player hits SPIN. The five reels land on one word each, one from every topic.
  3. Players race to build a chain that links all five words. Each word connects to the next through a real explanation. The chain can be in any order that makes logical sense.
  4. When you've got it, shout linki! and explain the connection out loud.
  5. The group decides together whether the chain holds up. No referee, no scoring, just agree or push back and keep refining.
  6. If nobody can link all five within a minute, spin again and try the next set.

For teachers

Doodling the connection while explaining it is strongly encouraged. A quick sketch on paper or the board forces students to make the link concrete and gives the rest of the class something to follow. The best explanations almost always come with a drawing.
